We realize that visiting any church can feel intimidating. So we want to give you as much information as we can so you will feel more comfortable if you decide to visit one Sunday. A few things that you might want to know:

  • We meet at O. Henry Middle School which is located in Central Austin a block off of Lake Austin Blvd on Exposition at 10 AM. MAP
  • You will find our Sunday gatherings warm in feel and loosely programmed. Our adults range from college-age to graying, and children from newborn to high school.
  • When you enter O. Henry you will see our Children's Ministry - ROOTS - to your right. The children are divided into 7 groups: Sprouts: Newborn to 1 year, Seedlings: 1 to 2 years, Honeysuckles: 2 to 3 years, Twigs: 3 to 4 years, Saplings: Pre K and K, Cedars: 1st & 2nd grade, and Mighty Oaks: 3rd through 5th grade. The ROOTS team will usher you and your children to age-appropriate classrooms where you will receive a pager or badge number to securely identify your child.
  • The adults meet in the gym which will be straight back the main hallway. We have a coffee bar and welcome table whenever you get there. There is also an Information Center located inside of the gym that can serve you if you have any questions or want more information about the things going on at Austin Bible.

We hope that you will continue to look around our website to learn more about us, but know that you are simply just learning facts. In order to really know about our church, you have to meet our church, learn our personalities, and our passions, and we hope we will get the opportunity to learn those things about you as well. See you Sunday!
