Student Ministry
Our heart is to call students (6th – 12th graders) to the same thing we are calling everyone to at Austin Bible which is the life-change found in Jesus Christ.
Sunday mornings
We encourage our students to attend our worship service, because we have a high value that intergenerational ministry is essential for healthy growth, and we want to be an asset to families rather than competition. We also call students up to maturity by challenging them to serve in our children’s ministry (Roots) or our setup/tear down/tech teams (Frontlines).
Leadership team
Our student ministry is led by volunteer leaders who have a love for students and have been equipped and released to pour into them. These volunteers provide leadership to the weekly gathering, Life Change Groups, Fun Activities, and Action
Events
Weekly Gathering
We have two weekly gatherings: one for MS (Sunday afternoon) and one for HS (Sunday evening). This will include a large group time of teaching and activities and then a breakout time into gender specific small groups (Life-change Groups).
Life Change Groups
These small gender-specific groups meet at the end of the Sunday Weekly Gathering to create an environment for students to go deep with each other as they pursue Jesus through God’s word, accountability and prayer.
Fun Events
Periodically our students gather for the purpose of laughing, building memories, and having fun. There is something really contagious about a group of people who work hard and play hard together.
Action Events
Regular opportunities are provided for students to get their hands dirty and serve by showing the love of Jesus to the city of Austin and beyond.
