Organic

We want to come alongside where God is already moving in our midst.  God has planted seeds in many people at Austin Bible.  Our desire is to uncover and partner with those ministries that most align with our own desires as a body.

Impact

We want to go deep.  Where God leads us to invest our time, treasure, and talent, we will make a long-term commitment to fully engage.  This means that we will most likely have fewer partners with greater levels of interaction.

Equip

We want the saints released for service.  Both in our body and in the communities where we serve, we desire that Christians are strengthened with the tools they need to minister effectively.  This means that we will teach, train, and build up those that have heeded God’s call to serve.

Indigenous

We want to work with people in and from the community.  Expatriates certainly have a role to play in missions, evangelism, and community development.  However, sustainable change only comes through community empowerment.  Indigenous people also have much more understanding in language and cultural issues.

Holistic

We want to heal the whole person.  This includes both the spiritual and physical.  Ultimately we want to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to those we are serving.  One excellent way to accomplish this will be through good works that meet the physical needs of people.  Both our words and actions will point people to Jesus.

Relational

We want strong, long-lasting relationships with those whom God has called us to serve.  We will come alongside them for counsel, encouragement, fellowship, and hard work.  Our goal is to lift up those we support to the point that they see us as fully invested partners in their ministry.
