The Call to

• Make Disciples (Matthew 28:19)
• Helping Orphans and Widows (James 1:27) 
• Seeking Justice and Mercy (Micah 6:8)  

The Bible clearly calls each of us to a life of service outside of our own needs and outside of the church.  At Austin Bible, we want to be a place that is constantly looking beyond our walls to see where God is leading us to serve.  No doubt this will take us out of our comfort zone.  You may be called to care for a neighbor in a time of need.  You may be called to share Christ with a co-worker.  You may be called to mentor a fatherless child.  You may be called to build a home in Mexico.  You may be called to the ends of the earth.

The question is not will you be called.  The question is how will you answer the call.  Each of us IS called and that is simply the bottom line of living the Christian life.   We, as a church, want to equip you to respond to this call.  We will equip you to serve those whom you come in contact with on a daily basis.  We will equip you with opportunities to serve in Austin.  And we will equip you to live as a world Christian understanding how the Spirit is moving globally. 

Austin Bible is currently serving people in our community and in our world.  These ministries were started as an outgrowth of people in our church who felt the call and responded.  At Austin Bible we simply came alongside where we already saw God working in a miraculous way.
